This notice explains how KW Tech Solutions (“we”) handles personal data on parking.com.my. You can contact us about it through our contact page or at [email protected].
What we collect
If you create a member account:
- your email address
- the display name you choose, if any
- your points, level and settings
- when you agreed to the terms and when you last signed in
If you send a rate report or share a car park:
- your report and photos, the name and email you give, and a scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address
- the date a photo was taken, if the file includes one. We remove location data and other details from photos when we receive them.
If you contact us: your name, email, company and message.
When you browse the site: we use cookies to keep members signed in. We also use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used, and our ad and affiliate partners, Innity and Klook, may show ads or offers.
Why we use it
- to sign you in, by emailing you a sign-in link
- to review uploads, keep rates accurate, and award points and levels
- to email you about your uploads, which you can turn off in your account
- to prevent spam and abuse
- to show your display name on listings you helped check, only if you turn this on
We don’t sell your personal data. Your email is never shown publicly.
Who it’s shared with
Only the service providers who help run the site: Vultr, Cloudflare (security and delivery), Gmail and Google Analytics. Some of them may process data outside Malaysia. We may also disclose data if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep account data until you delete your account. We keep contact messages for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and any follow-up. Reports and photos are kept because published rates rely on them, without your name or email once your account is deleted.
Your choices
You can correct your display name, turn off credit and emails, or delete your account on your member page. To ask for a copy of your data, or for anything else about it, contact us.
You don’t have to give us your data, but we can’t provide a member account without an email address.
